Group Training ID - FAQ

Create Group Training ID

  1. Before setting up a Group Training ID, you need to make sure that all of the employees that you wish to add to this group already have the same course assigned and the same course in common.
  2. In Greenius, navigate to: Employee Training > Group Training
  3. In the bottom right corner, click the green '+' button
  4. Step 1: Choose Language - Select the language from the dropdown and click Next
  5. Step 2: Create Group by Course or Employee: You'll see you've got these two different options:

    • Course = Lists all available courses and shows which employees are assigned to each one. Select a course to see the full list of assigned employees.
    • Employee = Shows all courses assigned to a specific employee. Select any course to see other employees who also have that course assigned.

In this example, we will create the group by selecting Course. Click Next

  6. Step 3: Select a Single Course - In this example we will choose to do a group training for Aerator Safety
💡Tip: Copy the course name to paste into the Group Name section later (highlight the course name > right click mouse > click Copy)
  7. Click Next
  8. In this Step 4: Select Employees section, you will see all employees who have the Aerator Safety Course assigned to them. Check the box next to each employee name (or to select ALL, click the checkbox next to Name). When finished, click Next.
  9. Step 5: Add Additional Training? - If these employees had any additional courses in common, it would list them here. Click Next
  10. Step 6: Enter Group Name - Name this group.
💡Tip: Name this group related to the courses that are involved, put the time of year that the group was hosted as well. E.g. "Aerator Safety - Winter 2025"
  11. Click Next
  12. Step 7: Generate a Group Training ID - This ID is what you are going to sign in with, rather than the individual employee IDs. Click Next
⚠️ Note: For group trainings, sign in with the group ID (not an individual’s ID). If you sign in with an individual training ID, only that person’s record is updated. When you sign in with the group ID, the exam score and training history apply to all employees in that group.
  13. Set Due Date. Click Next
  14. Step 9: Training Instructions - Click Next
  15. You will notice if I scroll through your list, all of the employees added to the group now show this Training ID
⚠️ It's very important to sign in with this group ID rather than the individual's ID or rather than maybe a manager's ID.
When you are ready to start Training, sign into the Greenius website and enter this Group Training ID.

Archive Training Group

You can't permanently delete a Group Training entry in Greenius — but you can archive it so it's no longer usable for new sessions. Any training that was completed through the group remains on each employee's record and in reports.

  1. Log into the Greenius Manager portal.
  2. Go to Employee Training > Group Training
  3. Find the group you want to remove and click Archive next to that group

⚠️ Note: Once archived, the group disappears fromm the list and cannot be restored. All completed training (exam scores, completion dates, etc.) stays on each employee's profile and in reports.

Group Training ID - FAQ

Q: Can I create a new group after archiving the old one? Yes. You can create as many groups as you need for each type of training session and archive them when you're done.

Q: What happens to the Group Training ID after archiving? The Group Training ID becomes inactive and can no longer be used to sign in to training.

Q: I clicked Archive but the group is still showing. What do I do? This is a known issue on some accounts. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If the group still appears, contact Greenius Support at support@gogreenius.com.
