Greenius FAQs

Q: How do I add an employee to Greenius?

Step-by-step:

Add a single employee

  • Log in to your Greenius manager account, then go to Employee Training → My Employees.
  • Click the green “+” button and choose Add New Employees.
  • Enter the employee’s details and assign a Division (required), then click Save.
  • Review the default training assignments, add any extras if needed, then click Save & Finish.

Other ways to add employees

  • Upload a spreadsheet: From My Employees, use the import tool to upload a list (First Name and Last Name must be separate columns; email/phone recommended).
  • Import from integrated platforms: If you’re linked, you can import from LMN or Aspire Employees from your Pending Employees section.
  • Restore an archived employee from your inactive section.

Q: How do I deactivate employees in Greenius?
Deactivate a single employee

  • Log in, then go to Employee Training > My Employees.
  • Find the person, click their name (not the checkbox), then in the side panel choose Tasks > Deactivate
  • Click Deactivate Employee to confirm.

Q: Can I edit the existing, pre-created Learning Paths in Greenius?

No, not at this time. You are able to create your own custom learning paths however, using the same / existing videos with whichever modifications to the  you’d like.

Q: Can I import a list of my employees from an existing spreadsheet?

Yes - You can import an employee list from an excel file. Ensure your file has employee first and last names split into their own separate columns. You can also include, Email, Mobile Number you can download a sample file here.

Q: How do I create a custom course?

Creating a custom course in Greenius is easy! All you need is a video link from either YouTube or Vimeo. This link can be for a video that you have created yourself, or even a link to existing content from a particular company or product. You’d be surprised what helpful content already exists out there!

Q: How do I assign learning paths or courses to my employees?

Assign a course to one employee:

  1. Log in to your Greenius manager account and go to Employee Training → My Employees.
  2. Find the employee. Either click their name to open the details panel and choose Assigned Training → Add Training, or select their checkbox and use the bottom action bar’s Add Training.
  3. In the assignment dialog, pick the desired learning paths or courses, set a due date, and click Assign/Confirm.

Assign a course to multiple employees at once

  1. On My Employees, filter/select the employees via checkboxes and click Add Training, then select the course(s), set a due date, and assign.
  2. Best practice: if the course should apply to everyone in a division going forward, add it as a Training Mandate under Account Settings → Training Mandates so it auto-assigns for that division.
  3. Note on “Select All”: there’s a known issue where mass-assigning to “All” can show only Learning Paths and not Courses; choosing a smaller subset or adding the course to the division mandate works around it.

Q: How do I unassign a course?

Unassign a course for (one employee)

Open My Employees, click the employee’s name (not the checkbox). Find the course in their Assigned Training, click the three-dot menu, and choose Unassign; confirm to finish.

Unassign a course in bulk (multiple employees)

Go to My Employees, select the checkboxes for the employees you want. Use the action bar that appears at the bottom, choose Unassign Training, select the course(s), and confirm.

Note: Bulk unassign currently supports courses; Learning Paths aren’t available in Mass Actions at this time.

Q: Can I edit a learning path?

You can edit any custom Learning Paths you have created. The existing Greenius learning paths cannot be edited at this time.

Q: How do I notify employees when training is assigned?

  • You will be prompted to send a training notice when you add a new employee to Greenius. You have the option to either email or text message this notice.
  • Training notices will be sent automatically any time you change an employee’s division. They will be notified.
  • Although  mandating new training to a division will assign those courses to any employee already added to that division, these changes will not trigger a notification email or text message.

Q: Why aren’t employees receiving training notifications?

  • Check to see that an email address or phone number is added to the employee’s profile, and that it is correct.
  • Direct your employees to check their spam folder, for both email and text messages. Some smartphones will have a spam folder for text messages.
  • If you have a managed email domain associated with your company website, for example @gogreenius.com, @yourcompanyname.com etc, you may need to contact your ID department to ensure that there is no firewall or filter preventing the messages from going through.

Q: How do I check if an employee has completed a course?

Check a single employee

  • Go to Employee Training → My Employees, click the employee’s name (opens the side panel), then expand their assigned items to see status like In Progress/Passed/Checklist due.
  • From Tasks → Employee Progress → click Training Diploma to see completed courses with completion dates and scores (good for a printable certificate). This will show all courses that are fully completed. This means that the exam has been passed, and the associated checklists have been completed by their supervisor.
  • For more detail on how dates courses were assigned, as when / how many attempts were made to complete an exam, open Training History instead; it shows all historical training, including items that were completed but later unassigned.

Run a report

  • Exams Completed report: lists passed exams with dates for your active employees.
  • Incomplete Checklist report: confirms the checklist step is outstanding—which is required for a course to be considered Safe Certified (fully complete).
  • Reports by Date: filter completions within a specific timeframe.
  • Note: Greenius reports only include active employees; If an employee has been archived, you will need to reactivate their profile inorder to run reports on them.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If My Employees shows “incomplete” but the Exams Completed report shows passes, the checklist likely hasn’t been completed yet. Learning Path progress doesn’t update until the checklist is done.
  • Some SCORM courses don’t display an “In Progress” state the same way as standard courses; rely on the exam and checklist records for confirmation.

Q: How do I restore a deactivated employee?

Deactivated Employees are archived, and can be found from the “Inactive Tab” on your My Employees page.

Q: Can I turn off the exam for a course?

No, the exams for all Greenius courses are mandatory. Only exams for custom courses can be disabled or edited.

Q: Can I turn off the checklist for a course?

Yes, you can disable the checklists for any course from your Settings, under Manage Courses. Please note that this is not recommended. If you wish to turn off a checklist, it would be wise to contact your account manager to discuss this further, as this may have serious safety and legal implications.

Q: What are the costs for Greenius?

The cost of Greenius is dependent on when you signed up and how many employees you have added. You can view the specific details for your account by accessing your Greenius Invoices or Billing Details from your Settings. You can also click here to view the most current packages on our website.

Q: Can startup or onboarding fees be waived for returning customers?

No - if an account has been cancelled for longer than 60 days, it can no longer be recovered and you will need to set up a brand new Greenius profile.

Q: How to I add a Manager

You can add a manager from your Settings under Managers. Click the Plus symbol at the bottom right of your screen. Follow the steps entering the required information.

Q: How do I set up manager permissions and roles?

When you add a new manager to Greenius, you will be prompted to choose an access level. If you want to change the access level for an existing manager, you can also do so from your Manager settings. Simply click the edit pencil next to their name. You can edit their access level from the dropdown menu presented on this page.

Q: How do I troubleshoot issues with training not registering as complete?

If an employee has completed training, but it is not showing as complete:

  •  The first place to check is to see if the checklist has been completed for the courses in question. The checklist step must be completed with your employee before the respective course will be marked complete.
  • Additionally, you can double check your employees training history to see if they completed a course. From Tasks, select → Employee Progress → click View Training History.  This shows all historical training, including items that were completed but later unassigned, the dates courses were assigned, etc.
  • It's possible the employee went through their video and exam, but didn’t pass. You will be able to see this from their training history. You can also sign in with their training ID to see which courses show completed.

Q: How do I log in?

To sign in to Greenius, choose either the manager login or the training login on the Greenius sign in page. If you are a manager, enter your username and password and click sign in. If you are an employee; simply enter your training ID and  click sign in.

Q: How do I reset my password?

If you need to reset your password you need to know both your username and your email address. In some cases, these will be the same. If you forget your username, or are unsure of which email address you signed up with; please contact support@gogreenius.com and we will further assist you.

Q: Why can't I see my employees?

If you are unable to see employees in Greenius, it is likely that those employees do not have you assigned as their manager. Only Top Admin user profiles are able to see all employees at your company, regardless of the managers that they have assigned. To fix this, you can simply increase the access level for your manager profile, or have another manager add you to the required employees.

Q: How do I add or manage employee seats?

You can add additional training seats from your Settings, under Manage Subscription.

Q: How do I update billing information?

You can update your billing and payment info through your billing portal. Access the billing portal from your Settings under Billing Details.
Note: Our billing portal is a secure access system, which will send a sign-on link to the billing email address on file. There can be only one billing email per account. If you need to update this, please contact support@gogreenius.com to have this updated.

Q: How do I get started with Greenius?

If you are not a current Greenius customer and are looking to learn more or sign up; you can book a demo here.

If you have already signed up - Welcome! You should receive a meeting invite from your account manager who will help you get everything set up. You can also check our our Learning Greenius courses, either by assigning them to yourself, or checking them out in preview from your Training Library.

Q: Where can I find training videos or help articles?

You can find “how-to” videos on Greenius, as well as numerous help articles from Help & Resources section, at the bottom left of your Greenius page. You will see the option for the Tutorial Library if you preview to watch videos on Greenius, OR, the Help Articles which are step by step instructions on various pieces of the system.

Q: What are Learning Paths and how do I use them?

What Are Learning Paths?

  • A Learning Path is a sequence of courses grouped together to achieve a particular training goal (e.g., “Landscape Technician - Level 1”).
  • You can use pre-built Learning Paths provided by Greenius or create your own custom Learning Paths using any combination of Greenius and custom courses.
  • Learning Paths can be assigned directly to employees or included as part of a division mandate.
  • Only the first course in a Learning Path is unlocked initially; subsequent courses unlock as each prior course’s exam is completed, ensuring employees follow the intended order.

How Do I Use Learning Paths?

  1. Create or Select a Learning Path:
    • Go to the Custom Builder tool in Greenius.
    • Choose to build a Custom Learning Path, give it a title, select a language, and optionally add a cover image and tags.
    • Add the desired courses in the order you want employees to complete them.
  2. Assign Learning Paths:
    • Assign a Learning Path to one or more employees from the Employee Training section.
    • Set a due date and, if desired, attach a reward for completion (note: rewards can only be attached when assigning Learning Paths directly, not via mandates).
  3. Track Progress:
    • Employees must complete each course’s exam (and checklist, if enabled) to progress.
    • The Learning Path is marked complete when all courses and checklists are finished.
    • Progress is tracked, but note that completion percentages may not update until all checklists are done.
  4. Edit and Customize:
    • You can edit any custom Learning Paths you’ve created, but not the pre-built Greenius ones. If you want to modify a Greenius-provided path, duplicating it will create a custom version you can edit.

Key Tips and Limitations

  • Learning Paths can be used alongside existing Divisions and Mandates; they do not replace them.
  • There is no limit to the number of custom Learning Paths you can create.
  • Rewards and incentives can be attached to Learning Paths when assigned directly, but not when included in a mandate.

Q: Are Greenius courses OSHA compliant?

Yes - All Greenius safety courses are designed to be OSHA compliant for landscaping and related general-industry work. Greenius also meets the requirements for the various provincial ministries in Canada. Greenius is the industry standard for North America.

What that means in practice

  • Greenius aligns content to OSHA training requirements, but ultimate compliance still depends on the employer providing any needed site-specific instruction, in‑field verification, and proper documentation.
  • Greenius supports compliance workflows with built-in multiple‑choice exams, supervisor checklists (in‑field evaluations), and persistent training records.
  • For documentation during audits, managers can access Training Diplomas and reports (e.g., Exams Completed, Incomplete Checklist) to demonstrate due diligence.

Q: How do I integrate Greenius with LMN or other platforms?

You can connect your LMN account to Greenius at any time, using the Greenius link from the left side of your LMN page. If you already have an existing Greenius account, be sure to select “YES - I already have an existing Greenius account” when promoted. If you do not have an existing Greenius account, you will be promoted to set one up.

You can also connect an Aspire account by contacting your account representative, or the Greenius Support team.

Q: How do I get support or contact customer service?

  • Phone (Toll-Free): 1-877-482-2323
  • Email: support@gogreenius.com
  • Direct Message: Accessible through the Help & Resources tab

Q: How do I run reports on training completion and compliance?

Quick steps

  • Log in to your Greenius manager account and open the top navigation’s Reports menu. From there, choose the report you need (e.g., Overall Employee Training Report).
  • Set any available filters at the top of the report (e.g., division, manager, date range), then run the report. Most reports support filtering before export; the Overall Employee Training Report is the notable exception and does not provide filters in‑app.
  • Click the green Export to Excel button to download; some reports also have a PDF option. Most Greenius reports export to Excel; one or two are PDF-only (e.g., some individual employee reports).
  • Reminder: Greenius reports only include active employees. If someone was archived, reactivate them first to include them in reports.

Common reports and when to use them

  • Exams Completed: Shows passed exams (who passed, and when). Useful for quick proof of completion and audits
  • Incomplete Checklist: Identifies courses where the in‑field supervisor checklist is still outstanding; a course isn’t fully complete until the checklist is done.
  • Reports by Date: Filters completions within a specific timeframe (e.g., last month, a season window).
  • Past Due Training: See which employees are overdue, by how long, with filters for manager and division; exportable to Excel for follow‑up lists.
  • Overall Employee Training Report: A comprehensive, wide report showing assignment/completion status across your entire library. It’s large and best used by exporting to Excel for sorting/filtering there (no in‑app filters).

Practical tips

  • To get a printable list of employees (and their training IDs), export the Overall Employee Training Report and keep only the first column (delete the rest).
  • If an employee looks “incomplete” on My Employees but you see passed exams in reports, the checklist step is likely missing; learning path progress updates only after the checklist is completed.
  • For single-employee proof, open the employee’s profile and use the Training Diploma (shows completed courses, completion dates, and scores).

Q: How do I access or participate in webinars and community events?

Follow this link to Granum Product Training: LMN, SingleOps & Greenius

Q: "LMN created a new Greenius account instead of linking my existing one. How do I fix this?"

A: When you connect LMN to Greenius, LMN tries to link your LMN login to an existing Greenius account. If your existing Greenius account uses a different email than your LMN login, LMN may create a brand‑new Greenius account instead of attaching the account that already has your training history.

Step‑by‑Step Fix

  1. Choose which Greenius account to keep
    • In most cases, you’ll want to keep your original Greenius account with your existing training history, certifications, and learning paths.
  2. Collect details before you contact support
    Have the following ready:
    • LMN login email (the one you use to sign into LMN).
    • Original Greenius login email (the one with your training history).
    • New Greenius login email (the empty account LMN just created).
    • Company / account name as it appears in LMN.
    • A short request, for example:
“Please link my original Greenius account to my LMN login and remove or ignore the new empty account.”
  3. Ask Support to manually relink your account
Contact LMN/Greenius Support and ask them to:
    • Detach the new, empty Greenius account from your LMN user.
    • Attach your original Greenius account (using its email/ID) to the same LMN user.
If merging is needed, ask Support not to delete or overwrite any data on the original account.
  4. Use a single login going forward
    After Support confirms the fix:
    • Always use the same login path LMN expects (usually “Sign in with LMN” or the specific email Support confirms).
    • Avoid signing into Greenius with different emails, or LMN may try to create another new profile.

Q: Can I merge two Greenius accounts into one?

Greenius does not currently offer a self-service account merge. If you have two separate Greenius accounts (for example, one created before you connected to LMN and one that LMN auto-created), Support can manually relink your accounts.

What you'll need to provide:

  • Your original Greenius login email (the one with your training history)

  • The new Greenius login email (the empty or duplicate account)

  • Your LMN login email

  • Your company/account name

What Support will do:

  • Detach the new, empty Greenius account from your LMN user

  • Attach your original Greenius account to the same LMN user

  • Ensure no training data is lost in the process

How to request a merge:

Contact support@gogreenius.com with the details above and a short description, for example:

"Please link my original Greenius account to my LMN login and remove the duplicate account."

Tips to avoid duplicate accounts in the future:

  • Always use the same login path LMN expects (usually "Sign in with LMN" or the specific email Support confirms).

  • Avoid signing into Greenius with different emails, or LMN may try to create another new profile.

  • If you already have a Greenius account when connecting to LMN, be sure to select "YES — I already have an existing Greenius account" when prompted.
