Find & Manage Custom Course Drafts
If you've been building a custom course and saved your progress but can't find your draft, here's where to look and how Greenius handles draft content.
Where Drafts Are Stored
Custom course drafts are saved under your Training Library.
Log in to your Greenius Manager account
Navigate to Training Library > Courses
Look for the Custom section or filter/tab.
Drafts will appear with a "Draft" status label.
💡Tip: Drafts are only visible to the manager account that created them. If another manager created the course, you may not see it unless you have Top Admin access.
"Save Chapter" vs. "Publish"
Save Chapter |
Publish |
| Saves your progress within the course builder. The course remains in Draft status. | Makes the course live and assignable to employees. Only published courses appear in the main course catalog. |
If you clicked "Save Chapter" but did not complete all four steps (Details > Chapters > Quiz > Checklist) and click Publish, the course will remain as a draft.
Can't Find Your Draft?
Make sure you are logged in with the same manager account used to create the course.
Check if another admin may have published or deleted the course.
If the draft is still missing after checking, contact Greenius Support at support@gogreenius.com — our team can check if the draft exists on the backend.
Edit an Existing Custom Course
If your course is already published and you need to swap the video link:
Go to Training Library > Courses
Find your custom course and click on it.
Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner and select Edit
Navigate to the chapter with the broken video and paste the corrected link.
Click Save or Publish when finished.
Delete or Unassign a Custom Course
Before You Delete
Consider whether employees have in-progress training on this course.
If employees have already completed the course, their historical records are preserved even after deletion.
If you want to keep the course but stop assigning it, you can simply unassign it from employees instead of deleting it.
Delete a Custom Course
Log in to your Greenius Manager account
Navigate to Training Library > Courses
Find your custom course and click on it
Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner of the course.
Select Delete
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
⚠️ Note: Deleting a custom course cannot be undone. Any employees who were assigned this course will have it removed from their assigned training. Completed training records (exam scores, completion dates) are retained in training history.
How to Unassign a Course (Instead of Deleting It)
If you'd rather keep the course available but remove it from specific employees:
For One Employee
Go to Employee Training > My Employees
Click the employee's name (not the checkbox) to open their details.
In Assigned Training, find the course.
Click the three-dot menu next to it and choose Unassign.
Confirm to finish
For Multiple Employees at Once
On My Employees, check the boxes for the employees.
Use the action bar at the bottom, choose Unassign Training.
Select the course(s) and confirm.
Vimeo Troubleshooting
Greenius custom courses support videos hosted on YouTube or Vimeo. If your Vimeo video isn't playing inside a custom course, it's almost always related to the video's privacy settings on Vimeo — not the video's length.
1. Vimeo Privacy Settings (Most Common)
Your Vimeo video must be accessible without a Vimeo login. Videos set to "Unlisted" or "Private" use a different URL format that Greenius cannot embed.
Fix: Change your Vimeo video to Public.
Log in to Vimeo and go to your Library.
Click on the video you want to use.
Click the Share button in the top right.
Under the Privacy section, change the dropdown to Public.
Make sure no passwords or "Hide from Vimeo" settings are applied.
⚠️ After changing to Public, you may need to edit your custom course and re-paste the updated Vimeo link.
2. Invalid or Extra URL Parameters
Only use the base Vimeo URL. Remove any extra parameters after the video ID.
✅ Correct: https://vimeo.com/1234567890
❌ Incorrect: https://vimeo.com/1234567890/58ab2ba6ce?fl=ip&fe=ec
3. Vimeo Processing Delay
If you just uploaded the video, Vimeo may still be processing it. Wait a few minutes and try again.
4. Browser Issues
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Try an incognito/private window.
Try a different browser (Chrome is recommended).
Notes
There is no length limit for Vimeo videos in Greenius custom courses.
If the link is invalid, the Custom Course Builder will show an "Invalid link" error and will not save the chapter.
If you see "Sorry, we're having a little trouble" when previewing the course, the video's privacy settings are the most likely cause.
